Fall semester teaching appointments run August 1st through December 31st; Spring semester teaching appointments run January 1 through May 31st.
The department will first appoint students with who have elected guaranteed teaching (priority teaching status) and will then appoint non-priority teaching fellows. The Harvard Griffin GSAS Policies provides information about Teaching on their website. The Graduate Program Administrator will circulate available teaching fellow positions over the graduate program listserv. Students are also encouraged to apply for open positions available on CATS.
Graduate Student workers are represented by HGSU-UAW Local 5118. Contract information can be found on the HGSU website and on the Office of the Provide Student Unionization website.
