Mohit Mandal

Mohit is a PhD candidate in Anthropology at Harvard University, specialising in ecology, labor and climate change across the Indian Ocean. Mohit is currently writing his dissertation, an environmental history of the low-lying, rice-growing region of Kuttanad in Kerala, drawing upon contemporary debates within the environmental humanities, agrarian studies, and plant materiality. Before beginning his PhD, Mohit studied and worked at NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD), in the United Arab Emirates.
