Lizzy manages a variety of departmental laboratory spaces, including the Ancient BioMolecules Laboratory, Anthropology Multiuser Laboratory, and Microscope Laboratory. She supports faculty and students in their anthropological research, assists with student training, and works to ensure and improve laboratory safety across the department.

Lizzy earned her MSc in Archaeological Sciences and Human Evolution from the University of Tübingen, supported by Fulbright and German Academic Exchange (DAAD) scholarships. Her research areas of interest include human osteology, paleopathology, functional morphology, paleoanthropology, and forensic anthropology/archaeology.
