Amy provides a wide variety of front-line administrative support for junior and tenured faculty, their affiliates, lecturers, invited guests, prospective and current students in the Archaeology Program, serving as main public representative to all visitors of the Program. Amy directly assists the Archaeology Program Director and the Department of Anthropology Director of Administration and Operations. As Departmental corporate card administrator, and subject-matter-expert in Harvard University fiscal policies and procedures, she provides support for university-wide best practices in fiscal stewardship and financial operations through the processing and approving of financial transactions; including travel and reimbursement, reconciliation of faculty corporate cards and purchasing-cards, accounts payable, and purchasing of Archaeology laboratory and office supplies. She is the facilities coordinator for the Archaeology Program offices, conference room spaces, and laboratories located within the Peabody Museum and within the Vanserg Building; including RoomBook approvals for space use, key distribution, building access requests, and maintenance of classroom equipment. She also coordinates the onboarding of new office occupants and offboarding of departing occupants, working closely with the building managers and Harvard resources to ensure smooth transitions. Amy coordinates and approves various room scheduling requests for Archaeology conference room and classroom spaces via RoomBook; including course sections, special events, workshops, department and program meetings, etc. Additionally, Amy administers program-specific and departmental events alongside faculty leads; including HAS (Harvard Archaeology Seminar Series) and Archaeology LifeHACS (Harvard Archaeology Community Seminar Series) which run bi/weekly throughout the academic year. She also acts as backup support to the Social Anthropology Program office.
