Argonauts of West Africa Receives Elliott P. Skinner Book Award

The Department of Anthropology at Harvard University is pleased to share an exciting update on a book by our former Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellow, Apostolos Andrikopoulos (now a Lecturer in Social Anthropology at University College London).

Argonauts of West Africa: Unauthorized Migration and Kinship Dynamics in a Changing Europe (Chicago, 2023), has received the Elliott P. Skinner Book Award, sponsored by the Association for Africanist Anthropology (AfAA), a section of the American Anthropological Association.
