Speaker Bio:

John Walden is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Harvard University and a Research Affiliate at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology. His research employs ancient DNA and archaeological data to reconstruct Classic Maya kinship between the rulers of the several Belize Walden is Assistant Director of the Belize Valley Archaeological Reconnaissance project and directs research and an outreach and engagement program at the political center of Lower Dover and its hinterland districts of Barton Ramie, Floral Park, and Tutu Uitz Na.
