Fall semester teaching appointments run August 11th through January 4th; Spring semester teaching appointments run January 1 through May 31st.

The department will first appoint students with who have elected guaranteed teaching (priority teaching status) and will then appoint non-priority teaching fellows. The Harvard Griffin GSAS Policies provides [information about Teaching](https://gsas.harvard.edu/financial-aid/teaching) on their website. The Graduate Program Administrator will circulate available teaching fellow positions over the graduate program listserv. Students are also encouraged to apply for open positions available on [CATS. ](https://cats.cloud.huit.harvard.edu/)
