He is responsible for supporting faculty and students who conduct zooarchaeological research and is available to discuss the relevant facilities within the department. He is also available to provide support in the statistical analysis of zooarchaeological remains, and archaeological data more generally. Jesse earned his Ph.D. from Stony Brook University in 2019, before completing postdoctoral training in zooarchaeology at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Human History (now Geoanthropology) from 2020-2022 and at Purdue University from 2022-2024.
