Prof. David Carrasco's essay to mark the one-year anniversary of the mass shooting in El Paso, Texas.

In unsettled and uncertain times, anniversaries often get little attention or are overlooked altogether.  But it is especially important during such periods to take the time to remember the events and people involved and reflect on the time that has passed.

It has now been a year since the brutal massacre that took place at the Walmart in El Paso, TX.  I’ve written a brief story that is now available here https://hds.harvard.edu/news/2020/08/03/saying-mexican-namesI invite you to read it – and remember the names.

 Saludos,

Davíd Carrasco
