Please join the roundtable Historias compartidas en el norte del Perú: tres espacios vistos a través de tres disciplinas scheduled for Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. EDT. Please note, this event will be held in Spanish. The morning is open to all, and the afternoon session beginning 2:00 p.m. will be closed. Please email us if you’re interested to attend the full day.

On this occasion we will have the opportunity to receive nine scholars coming directly from Peru, and Anthropology PhD candidate Solsire Cusicanqui. We will hear our guests speak about ongoing research in North Peru from the disciplinary perspectives of archaeology, anthropology, and linguistics. We will also have the chance to be joined by Jeffrey Quilter (Peabody Museum) and Tom B.F. Cummins (Dumbarton Oaks) as commentators.

There will be light refreshments available for breakfast at 9:00 a.m., and then a lunch at 12:30 p.m.

Please RSVP if you plan to attend the lunch: https://forms.gle/STSuUoTrWZXxP7AH8, or email Amy Arsenault (Sylvester) directly. If you plan to attend by Zoom and did not receive an email invitation for this event, please email Amy for the link.
